409 – Introduction to Stagecraft (8 Credits)

Dance doesn’t exist in isolation, it lives on stage. This module introduces lighting, sound, costume, makeup, and set design as integral parts of performance. Students will explore how stagecraft elements shape atmosphere, storytelling, and audience engagement. Practical projects allow you to design and apply stagecraft in live or simulated performance, equipping you with versatile skills that extend beyond the studio
