NZYBC is the only official Youth Ballet Company in New Zealand and the sole tertiary provider in the South Island dedicated to preparing dancers for professional careers.

• World-Class Coaching: We have a proven team of credible artists and maintain strong partnerships with international dance experts, including Dance Masters International, offering unparalleled access to renowned coaches and choreographers.
• Progressive Training Pathways: Our courses are designed to develop dancers holistically, technically, artistically, and personally - with progressive levels accredited by NZQA. We support students from their first year through to company-ready graduates who have joined prestigious companies both nationally and internationally.
Our comprehensive program blends world-class training with real-world experience - from foundational ballet technique to advanced contemporary work - complemented by strength conditioning, performance psychology, nutrition, and dance history.
