407 – Introduction to Choreography (13 Credits)

This module nurtures your creativity and teaches you how to generate original movement. You’ll study choreographic devices, repetition, contrast, variation, and apply them to create solos and group pieces. Improvisation, peer collaboration, and feedback sessions will sharpen your choreographic voice. Assessments include a solo performance, a portfolio documenting your creative process, and reflections on key choreographers and influences
